Welcome back to another episode of Web3CMO Stories. I'm your host, joeri Bilast, and today it's a solo episode because I just came back from the European Blockchain Convention in Barcelona. It was their 10th anniversary. I attended the event as a key opinion leader, kol, with my amazing crew for the occasion, dennis and Olly. Throughout the week, we recorded tons of video content, interviewed participants about their thoughts on blockchain, the future of crypto, even dove into discussions about the Rio coin from Japan and the crypto market in Asia. It was a whirlwind of energy, innovation and insights.

I'm going to share a few highlights from the event from my perspective. Let's jump right in. So let's start with Tuesday night. The convention kicked off in style at the VIP opening night at the Carpe Diem launch club, right on the beach. It was an unforgettable evening filled with great foot rings and conversations with some of the brightest minds in blockchain. I had the pleasure of speaking with the founders of the event, victoria and Danielle, as well as with Tatjana, who managed media relations. Talked about the convention, the vision behind the convention, the growing impact of Web3, how events like these are shaping the future of the industry, and about the importance of content creation, because that's for us, me and my two crew members. We thought it was really important for an event like that Also for booth holders, for businesses being present there yeah, to have content and to create content. So that's what we were doing all time during the event, even at the opening night. So we captured a lot of the energy from the night on video. There is a lot of potential and a lot of passion and a lot of energy for blockchain and the future of blockchain.

Wednesday was the first day of the conference. We did a lot of video recording, as I already mentioned, but then, at a certain moment, we headed over to the Bitstamp VIP happy hour, which took place at a beautiful venue with an amazing view. The atmosphere was lively and I had a chance to catch up with Isenur and Heather. I had met Heather at Paris Blockchain Week and so later on I connected with Isenur online and now was we an opportunity to meet her in real life and to talk about things that are going on with Bitstamp and everything that they plan to do and, of course, again, some great food, some great drinks, an amazing view and also yeah, that helps, of course, do even better networking. Later that evening, we made our way to mas ultra nights hosted by bit smart, and this was held at grupo abracame. I don't know if I pronounced it the right way, but let me tell you again a stunning view of Barcelona. It was a good night, filled with meaningful conversations, and I came away from the two events with a lot of ideas for future collaborations.

Now let me take you to Thursday, a big day, because that was the day that we recorded a very special episode at the official podcast booth with no other than Anna Tutova. For those of you who don't know Anna, she's the CEO of Coins Telegram, a crypto media group and consulting agency. She also co-produced the documentary Decentralized no Matter what, which features some of the biggest names in blockchain, like Vitalik, buterin and CZ. This was a conversation I was really looking forward to, and Anna did not disappoint, so stay tuned for that episode. Anna's journey is fascinating. She provided some great insights into how media is evolving to shape the future of web3 adoption. We touched on our documentary Decentralized no Matter what. I asked Anna about some of the most surprising moments during the production of the film, and it's not every day that you get to work with people like Vitalik and CZ, and so I was curious to hear stories behind the scenes. One of the big themes of our conversation was global adoption trends. I asked Anna about the current state of FabTree and crypto adoption in Japan and how it compares to other leading markets. Her perspective was eye-opening, especially as Japan is often seen as a forward-thinking market in terms of blockchain, but there is also a lot of regulation in Japan. I also asked her about the RioCoin, so be sure to check out the episode when it comes out. Very shortly Before we wrap up, I want to talk briefly about the real dinner I had planned for Thursday night.

I wanted to bring together some of the top influencers and industry leaders for an exclusive dinner, but unfortunately, due to the short notice, I was not able to make it happen. Of course, I was also very busy recording all this content. However, we are already planning something bigger for one of the next events this year. Maybe it will be at Web Summit, so stay tuned for that. And lastly, I have some news for you the founders of the European Blockchain Convention are organizing another event, digital Assets Forum, happening in London in February next year. If you have questions about that event, be sure to reach out to me.
